Current guidance
Belkin ended cloud support for these older Wemo models on January 31, 2026. New setup, cloud remote control, and Alexa/Google integrations are affected. Belkin says previously configured HomeKit connections can continue; that exception depends on the actual device and existing configuration. Do not factory-reset an existing working setup without reading the notice. This does not mean newer Wemo Thread devices have the same shutdown. These older models are retained as owner references and are not current purchase recommendations.

The Wemo Light Switch brings internet connectivity to any switch in your home. You can control the switch via the free Wemo app and put the switch on a schedule. You can configure the switch to activate or deactivate at sunset and sunrise or specify times.
