Amazon Echo Show 2nd Gen
Legacy generationDocumentation reviewed . Older model; not a current buying recommendation.
Current guidance
This article describes an older Echo Show generation. Features of a newer device with the same family name cannot be assumed on this hardware. Microsoft retired Skype in May 2025, so the original Skype-calling claim is no longer current. Confirm current Alexa calling, streaming-app availability and Amazon’s generation-specific security-update commitment before relying on an older display.
